Royal Government Lawyers Unite to Reject Report Accusing PM of Holding Cypriot Passport

The Royal Government of Lawyers have released a statement completely rejecting the report of and reject the untrue and baseless publications of the UK-based newspaper, “The Guardian” telling that Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia is one of those non-European who have received Cypriot passports.

The group has strongly emphasised, “Our Prime Minister has only Khmer nationality, no foreign nationality, no residence abroad and never run away to abandon the people of Cambodia.” The lawyers have said that the report exaggerates and deviates from the truth.

The statement has added, “The Royal Government's lawyers categorically reject any publication that is intended to misrepresent this fact. Government lawyers are deeply disappointed that The Guardian, as one of Europe's leading newspapers, has disregarded journalistic ethics and published such baseless and completely untrue content.”

According to them, this misrepresentation has led a handful of unscrupulous individuals to seize the opportunity to distort and inflate information even worse in order to incite, incite unrest and destroy order, security and peace in Cambodian society.

“The Royal Government's lawyers would like to condemn all the exaggeration and destruction of a handful of unscrupulous people. Government lawyers are urging The Guardian to publish the above article as a matter of urgency, and we are currently studying the legal aspects of filing a lawsuit against The Guardian for this untrue publication.”
